Our Guarantee

First the legal stuff:  As is customary in the seed trade, we are liable for no more than the purchase price of the seeds.
Packets contain no less than 10 seeds. Some varieties have no less than 15 seeds.  Mixes have 25-30 seeds.
Seeds that are imported from England have been fumigated at the Port of Entry in compliance with USDA /Aphis/PPQ requirements.

And the real stuff:  We want our customers to be happy.  We really like sweet peas and we want everyone to be successful growing them.  We realize, however, that some gardeners will be more successful than others.  This has to do not only with the skill and experience of the gardener, but also with variety of seed selected, climate, weather conditions, presence or absence of pests and diseases, and other factors over which there is no control.  We urge you to be realistic about your expectations.  Many customers report 100% germination.  A few customers have reported problems getting the seed to germinate.  People (including myself) have best luck using transplant method rather than direct sowing.  If you are a beginning gardener you might consider placing a small order and experimenting a little bit.
That being said, we are human and we make mistakes.  When there is a mistake we try to correct it in a manner that is honest, fair and reasonable.
If you have a problem please contact us by mail, fax, or e-mail.   We are courteous people and we expect that you will be too.
To keep things in perspective we urge our customers to read "The Harness" by John Steinbeck.  It is a short story about a fellow who grew sweet peas in the Salinas, California area.  It can be found in the book The Long Valley
